The Cobra A4615 is the perfect solution to prevent Hi Tech theft of your vehicle. The cobra alarm system protects your vehicle against key cloning, programming and theft. The system is a Thatcham Certified Cat 2-1 alarm which works both as an alarm and immobiliser.
Optional Extras
The system can be upgraded to protect certain weak spots in your vehicle, such as doors, windows, locks, boot and bonnet. Strategically placing sensors around these entry points can help detect slight changes which can lead to the alarm being activated. See below for optional extras that can be bought in addition to the Cobra A4615:
- Cobra Infrasonic Sensor – Detects any atmospheric changes within your vehicle. An example would be opening a door or punching a hole through the side of vehicle.
- Cobra Tilt and Motion Sensor – Activating the alarm if your vehicle is either being jacked up or put on a low loader.
- Cobra Microwave Sensor – Creates a bubble within the vehicle and triggers the alarm if the sensor detects an object entering the projected microwave bubble. Highly recommended for convertible vehicles and motor homes

- Upon locking the vehicle the system passively arms and immobilises the vehicle 30 seconds after ignition OFF and the driver door closing

Combining the alarm system with trackers like SmarTrack Pro Global or SmarTrack Cat 5 trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle 24/7 via their smartphone app or an internet browser. The tracker devices can also monitor car battery levels and notify the user if anyone has been tampering with your battery by sending alerts your phone
The Cobra Alarm system can also take advantage of this system. If the alarm is triggered, you will receive notification on your phone using the tracker software. This can be enhanced further by adding a Virtus Fleet dashcams. These can integrate with the tracker systems also, recording any incidents providing a clear picture or the incident. The Virtus Fleet cameras are tamperproof allowing upto 48 hours of recording.

Thatcham Research carries out research so that it can tests vehicle security systems, trains apprentices, and provides data that insurers use to classify cars into insurance groups.
Category 7 Insurance Approved Tracking
When you park your vehicle up, a real-time location report is produced using GPS satellite networks. The S7 works on unauthorised movement, so if the vehicle is parked up with the ignition off and it is moved/towed, or has a battery disconnect, a trigger is immediately actioned to the control center who will contact you.

Alerts and Notification

The Control Centre’s are monitored 24/7 so should there be any thefts, you can contact them round the clock. Equally, if there are any tampering, battery disconnect alerts or indeed any unauthorised movement they will be in contact, even if it’s the early hours.
Unauthorised Movement Sensing
The Control Centre will contact you to ask for confirmation that the vehicle is secure if it is moved without the ignition on.

Geo Fencing
With the app, if the tracker you have installed supports Geo Fencing, you can set a virtual border around the vehicle, so that if the vehicle breaches this border, you will be alerted immediately.
Wireless Immobilisation (Optional)
The Thatcham approved S7 has the facility if there’s no tag the vehicle will not start, unless authorised with your tag or on your app which is designed to override the system in case the tag is lost there are two ways of overriding this either via GSM or Bluetooth in case you are in area with no GSM reception.
Speed Alerts
As the name suggests, the GPS works to keep track of the vehicle and detects when you are speeding and will alert you.
OBD Port Immobiliser (Optional)
The Meta S7, in addition has OBD protection the OBD will be operational unless authorised on the app .
Crash Detection
There is a crash detection feature that will send an alert to your phone if the car is involved in an accident, so, if you’re not with the vehicle you can check on whoever is driving and alert emergency services if needed.
Location Request
If you are away from the vehicle and want to get back to where you parked, you can request the location in the app to guide you back to the car. If, however, you have parked in an underground car park, GPS tracking can only get you close to where the GPS signal was lost as you drove underground.

Route History

International Roaming Networks
Our products use roaming, multi-network SIMS which means that if you take your vehicle abroad it will select the strongest network to connect to.
Battery and Anti-Tamper Monitoring
Every tracking device has a built-in battery backup which kicks in when the tracking devices main power source has been cut off or someone disconnects the battery. An alert will be sent by the Control Centre should the battery be disconnected.
Optional Alarm Input
This is when you connect a Meta S5 or S7 tracker to an aftermarket alarm. You will receive push notifications if you have the Meta tracker installed. The main alerts for the aftermarket alarm will be smashed windows, tilt/motion or the shock sensor is triggered or indeed if the doors/boot or bonnet circuits are broken which will in-turn trigger the alarm and you will be notified via push notifications.
