Speed limiter systems are becoming increasingly popular with many fleet managers and have been proven to reduce fuel and maintenance costs. They are also ideal for private use to ensure safety on the road and with the increase in police monitoring cameras, can prevent unwanted speeding fines.
Our Precision Speed Limiters come pre programmed with a preset Speed Limit which can be advised when purchasing and also feature the ability to operate at multiple, fixed preset limits. However, it is possible for the customer to alter the speed limit by purchasing one of our PRECISION BLUETOOTH Modules.
The Bluetooth module is compatible with our app (currently only available on Android devices) and enables the user to modify the preset speed limit. It also allows the customer to program their mobile phone to the system so that when they are driving the car, the Bluetooth module will detect the presence of the authorised mobile phone and automatically cancel the speed limit.
This is ideal for parents or car owners who allow other drivers to drive their car, as it will limit the vehicle for every one else using the car but when the owner is driving, the limit will automatically cancel.
By the installation of an additional interface, it is also possible to alter the existing speed limit under certain drviing conditions, for example when the vehicle is towing.
Another feature that is ideal for emergency service vehicles, is that the limiter is able to detect 'Blue Light' operation and either cancel the speed limit or adjust it to a higher point while the vehicle Blue Lights are active.

Installation & Specifications
All of our PRECISION SPEED LIMITERS are vehicle specific.
They come complete with a 'Plug and Play' pedal harness which is connected in the drivers footwell.
They also come with CAN Leads to connect to the vehicle CAN Bus system and the limiter module which can be installed in a place to suit the customer.

Depending on the type of equipment ordered, the equipment is supplied to you with an option to either be fitted by an Audio Images or Vehicle Tracking Tech (VTT) approved installer (at a cost quoted in the Service Confirmation email) or you can personally arrange for installation of the required Equipment into the Vehicle by your own installer. This option excludes all Thatcham categorized equipment which can only be installed by an Audio Images or Vehicle Tracking Tech (VTT) approved installer.
Prior to confirmation of the agreed time and the date for the installation of the equipment by an Audio Images or Vehicle Tracking Tech (VTT) approved installer, we will require payment in full for the equipment and installation cost. Any amendment to the agreed time and date of the installation must be made no less than 3 working days before the scheduled installation date. Subsequent cancellation of the agreed date and time of the installation by you will result in Audio Images and Vehicle Tracking Tech (VTT) retaining 100% of the original installation charge as an administration charge. You will be required to pay a further installation fee before a new agreed time and date of installation can be confirmed.

You might need to maintain a specific speed for some time in some areas during travel and cruise control system can do it for you. It is designed to automatically maintain the speed of your vehicle. The driver can leave the accelerator and steering when cruise control is active. When activated, cruise control takes over the throttle of the vehicle.
