4K UHD RESOLUTION

Equipped with the latest Sony Starvis2 IMX678 Image Sensors, you can record in crystal clear 4K 2160p UHD front and 2K 1440p QHD rear cam footage day or night at 30FPS. The 152° front and 128° rear wide-angle lens minimise blind spots to assure all events are recorded without fail.

Dynamic Recording at 60fps Select 2K QHD to choose from 30FPS or 60FPS A higher frame rate can deliver both smoother and sharper images

4K IMAGE QUALITY SETTINGS

The greater the amount of data on the image displayed through the screen, the better the image quality.
The U3000 provides a clearer image by adjusting the number of bits per second of recorded images stored

Standard Option – 24Mbps

High Option – 30Mbps

SUPER NIGHT VISION 4.0 WITH SONY STARVIS2

Sony STARVIS2 IMX678 will be applied to the Dashcam for the first ever Optimised night vision technology allows capturing images in low-light conditions both continuous & parking recording. Record the moment when maximising low light conditions by SHCG (Super High Control Gain)

PARKING SURVEILLANCE MODE

Parking Surveillance mode is automatically activated when you turn off the ignition. This captures footage when a motion or impact is detected so you have video evidence of mishaps like hit-and-runs while you’re away from your vehicle.
*Requires Hardwiring Cable or OBD II Power Cable and installation for Parking Surveillance mode (professional installation recommended)

BUILT-IN THINKWARE RADAR

Front and Rear Detection with 2 Channel Models
Dual RADAR will be applied to the Dashcam for the first ever
Dual RADAR is built into the front and rear cameras and When a person or vehicle is detected in a low-power recording situation, it immediately wakes up and starts recording motion.
Sensitivity can be set in 5 steps and can be detected from 1M minimum to 5M maximum

U3000 Dual RADAR Standby Times

MOTION DETECTION

Monitor and capture any motion around the vehicle for potential vandalism attempts.

IMPACT DETECTION

Monitor any impact to the vehicle while it is parked to catch any hit-and-run driver in the act while you are away.

TIME LAPSE PARKING MODE

Catch any potential bumps, scrapes and other incidents by recording footage from your vehicle when you are not nearby. Timelapse mode records at 2 frame per second (FPS) to reduce the size of the video file. This allows the dash cam to record longer than other dash cams whilst in parking mode.

ENERGY SAVING MODE 2.0

In Energy Saving mode, the dash cam goes on standby when entering Parking Surveillance mode and wakes up to record events triggered by impacts only.
When in use, the U3000 will go to sleep and soon after an impact has been detected by built-in G-sensor, the U3000 will wake up within a second and start recording for the next 20 seconds.
This allows the dash cam to conserve energy and increase up to 5 times the total duration of the dash cam’s Parking Surveillance mode.

U3000 Energy Saving 2.0 Standby Times

* Based on 4,500mAH battery (BAB-50) * Variables: Temperature, the efficiency of the battery by usage time, and change in current after a detection.

You can communicate with your U3000 via the Thinkware Connected
LTE App on iOS or Android devices.
Download footage and control camera settings from your smartphone.

GPS MAPPING

With GPS, all Thinkware dash cams can record the vehicle’s driving speed and provide its precise location and routes identification on the map. The GPS Tracker helps you to accurately assess the details of the surrounding area. The PC/Mac viewer can then provide you with the vehicle speed and the time of a collision, and the severity of any impacts.

PC / MAC VIEWER

The intuitive and simple-to-use interface of Thinkware Dash Cam allows you an easy and convenient viewing of your recorded videos. Through PC or Mac viewer, you can playback and download recorded videos. You can also change the dash cam settings, format the memory card, or install updates with just a few clicks on the viewer.

MULTIPLE RECORDING MODES

CONTINUOUS RECORDING MODE

This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.

INCIDENT RECORDING MODE

The Active Impact Monitoring System will automatically store the video data ten seconds prior to and after a collision registered by the 3-axis G-Sensor.

MANUAL RECORDING MODE

Similar to a video camera, you can use the Manual Recording Mode to capture events that occur in front of your vehicle whether or not it is in motion.

FAIL-SAFE RECORDING

In the event that the power gets disconnected after an accident, the fail-safe recording uses the Super Capacitor for backup power to ensure safe storage of any recording in progress.

THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK

EASY WI-FI DEVICE PAIRING WITH THINKWARE LINK APP & BLUETOOTH

Built-in Bluetooth allows hassle-free dash cam pairing with your compatible Android or iOS device via the Thinkware Link App. Once paired, replay your latest driving videos and manage your dash cam’s settings with the Thinkware Link App. CHECK RECORDED IMAGES AND UPDATE FIRMWARE USING SMARTPHONES Your smartphone and the U3000 can be connected via the exclusive application ‘THINKWARE DASH CAM Mobile Viewer for U3000’ with built-in Wi-Fi in the navigation. Check, download or delete recorded images, update firmware or update safe driving information on the application.

FORMAT FREE 2.0 TECHNOLOGY

Avoid corrupt memory cards and the slow process of having to reformat your SD Cards with the free flowing recording system. One of the most common issues with a Dash cam’s reliability is the SD card, these cards are continuously overwritten and often become corrupt if not formatted often. This normally means that you have to remove the SD card and put it into a computer to reformat it. Thinkware have overcome this vulnerability by making the dashcam pre-allocate the memory, avoiding the need to format the SD card on a regular basis and making the footage easily viewable on our Thinkware viewer software.

SMART PARKING MODE

When a high temperature occurs, it switches to Low power mode, and when it enters a stable Temperature, it actively changes to the existing Recording mode. * Provide optimised energy saving with THINKWARE`s external battery

REAR CAMERA

Designed to be mounted inside the vehicle on the rear window facing out. A 128° wide-angle lens captures all footage from behind the vehicle in 2K QHD detail. A great enhancement to parking mode. Includes Radar functionality for the rear of your vehicle.

While dashcams draw a small amount of power, they are unlikely to significantly impact your vehicle's battery life. However, it's a good idea to use parking mode with caution.

Dashcams complement safe driving practices by providing evidence in the event of incidents. They are a valuable addition to your safety and security toolkit, enhancing your confidence on the road.

Regular maintenance includes keep formatting SD cards at regular intervals for optimum performance, lens clean, ensuring the power source is stable, and periodically updating the dashcam's firmware for performance improvements.

Dashcams are generally legal to use for personal use, but their use may be subject to data protection regulations. Our experts can provide guidance on legal and ethical usage.

Many dashcams feature a parking mode that monitors your vehicle even when it's parked. It can capture incidents such as accidents, break-ins, or vandalism, providing valuable evidence.

Yes, you can install multiple dashcams for full coverage. Some systems offer front and rear cameras, while others allow for additional side or interior cameras for a complete recording solution.

Dashcam footage is typically stored on an SD card or can be transferred to a computer or smartphone for viewing. It's advisable to back up important footage to a computer or cloud storage.

The dashcams we offer are equipped with night vision or low-light recording capabilities, ensuring clear video footage even in challenging lighting conditions.

A dashcam is a compact camera device that attaches to your vehicle’s windshield or dashboard. : A dash cam starts creating video files on an empty memory card. These video files are typically segmented into 1, 3, or 5 minute chunks, since it is easier to view and work with small video files on your computer rather than one long continuous file. When the memory card is full, the dash cam simply starts over at the beginning of the memory card, and in this way, never needs any attention from you until you have captured an incident on video that you would like to save. This is known as "loop recording", and is one of the most important abilities of dash... Read more

You can't explain that! Just kidding. Dash cams record video to a removable memory card inside the camera itself. Any time your car is on and the dash cam is plugged in, it is acting as your backup witness. Dash cams automatically start recording when they are powered on, and stop recording once you turn your car off. Note: Some dash cam models have the ability to keep recording even while the vehicle is parked! This is known as "parking mode".

Once you have purchased a dash, in most cases this is all you need to do to be up and running:

  • Insert a memory card.
  • Attach the suction-cup mount to your windshield.
  • Plug the power cord into the power source (cigarette lighter or other).
  • Done! Since recording is automatic, just drive your vehicle like you normally would, and enjoy the fact that you are now "protected by dashcam"!.

Please note that the above is applicable to plug & play dash cams.

Yes, there are several types of dash cams, and while they come in all shapes and sizes, they may be classified into a few distinct categories (click on any category link below to open a new browser window to that category of dash cam): Single-lens dash cams (for forward-facing recording) Dual-lens dash cams (for front + rear recording) Dual-lens dash cams (for front + inside recording) Professional dash cams (for commercial or governmental fleet vehicles) Single-lens dash cams are the most basic type of dash cam. These record from a single camera lens, like a normal camcorder. Typically people mount these dash cams in their front windshield in order to record what is happening in front of the car. Dual-lens dash cams are a bit more complex. These dash cams can record from more than one camera lens at a time. Typically they utilize one forward-facing lens to record what is happening in front of the vehicle, and one inside-facing lens to record what is happening inside the vehicle. These are particularly useful for fleet or commercial vehicles where typically the driver of the vehicle is not the owner of the vehicle. There are also dual-lens dash cams for front + rear such as the BlackVue DR750S-2CH that record in front of the vehicle like a single-lens model, but also use the input from a smaller remote camera (a camera mounted in the back of the vehicle - on the rear windshield) to record what is happening behind the vehicle as well. Professional dash cams are commercial-grade models designed for business use (fleet vehicles, taxis/Uber/Lyft drivers, delivery trucks, etc) or other commercial, municipal or government purposes. These high-reliability units are also desirable to those individuals seeking the added peace of mind that comes from using a professional-level device in their own... Read more

Dash cams, or dashboard video cameras, got their name due to originally being mounted on the dashboard of vehicles (mostly police cars). Now, most dash cams mount to a car's windshield with a secure and easy to use suction cup mount or strong adhesive pad.
